DETROIT, Mich. — The 17th annual Ground Vehicle Systems Engineering and Technology Symposium (GVSETS), hosted by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) Michigan Chapter, is set to take place August 12–14, 2025, in Michigan. Recognized as America’s premier event for military ground vehicle innovation, GVSETS will bring together over 3,000 Army leaders, defense suppliers, engineers, and researchers to accelerate modernization efforts for future combat and support vehicles.
A Hub for Defense Modernization
The event comes as defense modernization takes center stage in U.S. military strategy, with new legislation prioritizing readiness against peer and near-peer adversaries. Attendees will receive exclusive updates from top military leaders, including officials from U.S. Army TACOM, PEO GCS, PEO CS&CSS, NGCV CTF, DEVCOM GVSC, and ACC-Detroit Arsenal.
“If you want to understand where the Army is headed—and where opportunity is being created nationwide—GVSETS is the event. It’s the intersection of military needs, advanced tech, and the people building the future.”
— Valde Garcia, President, NDIA Michigan
