SAN FRANCISCO – Uber Eats (NYSE:UBER) announced a major expansion of its SNAP EBT (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – Electronic Benefits Transfer) program, adding Wegmans, Gopuff, and Family Dollar to its growing list of retail partners. This move further strengthens Uber’s commitment to expanding food accessibility for families and individuals in need, especially those without reliable transportation.

Powered by Forage, the only USDA-approved third-party payment processor for online SNAP payments, the initiative now gives eligible customers access to tens of thousands of grocery stores and convenience retailers nationwide via the Uber Eats app.
“We believe that everyone deserves the convenience of delivery, and with this growing list of merchant partners we can continue to provide access to the fresh food that families and individuals need, especially those without access to reliable transportation for whom food delivery can be a lifeline,” said Hashim Amin, Head of Grocery and Retail Delivery at Uber, North America.

“This expansion gives SNAP recipients access to tens of thousands of new stores — from national chains to local grocers — all through the Uber Eats app,” said Ofek Lavian, co-founder and CEO of Forage. “We’re proud to power the technology behind it, helping more families use their benefits with confidence and convenience.”

The updated list of SNAP-enabled Uber Eats partners includes national chains and local grocers, such as:
