It connects hundreds of production stages across three shared manufacturing centers, enabling multi-plant integration. This innovative approach has increased steel plate utilization to over 90% and reduced construction costs by 15%.
Automated Logistics and Real-Time Production Flow
Replacing traditional storage with automated, real-time logistics has reduced inventory by 70% while ensuring accurate distribution. Combined with an interregional R&D platform and a flexible shared supply chain, the system forms a comprehensive ecosystem that boosts productivity and modernization across the industry.
AI-Driven Efficiency in Smart Excavator Manufacturing
AI now manages over 80% of processes in Zoomlion’s intelligent excavator factory, enabling self-organizing production with zero changeover time. The complete manufacturing cycle—from steel plate cutting to final assembly—takes only 6.5 days, with one excavator rolling off the line every six minutes. The model supports customized, demand-oriented production while significantly reducing inventory.
