Huawei Digital Power showcased its vision for AI-ready, reliable, and sustainable data centers at Huawei Connect 2025 in Shanghai. The Data Center Infrastructure Summit brought together over 500 industry leaders, technical experts, and ecosystem partners to explore innovations in green, low-carbon digital infrastructure designed to meet the explosive growth of AI computing.

    Demo

AI computing is transforming data centers into “computing factories,” demanding high efficiency, reliability, and scalable infrastructure. Huawei emphasizes simplifying power conversion, optimizing thermal management, and adopting hybrid air-liquid cooling architectures to meet dynamic AI workloads. Prefabricated and productized solutions are central to future AI data center design, enabling faster deployment and higher operational reliability.

    Operational Highlights

    • AIDC Facility Reference Design White Paper: Provides systematic guidance for AI data center design, covering architectural structure, power distribution, cooling, and integrated cabling for different power densities.

    • Green and Low-Carbon Solutions: Huawei showcased energy-efficient, electrified, and low-carbon digital power technologies across multiple scenarios.

    • RAS Guidelines: Huawei’s Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability framework addresses security, energy efficiency, IT evolution, and delivery challenges for AI data centers.

    Strategic Significance

Steve Kim, President of Marketing, Sales, and Service for Critical Power and Data Center Facilities at Huawei Digital Power, highlighted that global AI data center capacity is expected to reach 112 GW within five years. Huawei’s multi-scenario reference designs, high-reliability products, and global ecosystem aim to empower industries to scale AI deployments efficiently while maintaining sustainability and operational excellence.

    Future Outlook

Through continuous R&D investment and integration of digital and power electronics technologies, Huawei Digital Power is driving the evolution of intelligent computing infrastructure. By maximizing processing power per watt and fostering industry collaboration, Huawei is laying the foundation for reliable, agile, and sustainable AI data centers, enabling a greener and smarter future.
