Silvus Technologies Introduces StreamCaster 4400 XTREME (SC4400X) - Ultra-Ruggedized MANET Radio

LOS ANGELES, CA – Silvus Technologies, Inc., a global leader in advanced wireless networking solutions, has unveiled the StreamCaster® 4400 XTREME (SC4400X), an ultra-ruggedized MANET radio engineered for maritime, littoral, and highly corrosive environments. The SC4400X delivers mission-critical, high-bandwidth connectivity, combining robust mesh networking capabilities with a military-grade, corrosion-resistant design.

    Purpose-Built for Extreme Environments

Constructed with sea-grade aluminum and MIL-A-8625-F Type III hard anodizing, the SC4400X features marine-grade connectors and optimized thermal characteristics for sustained high-power operations.

Designed to withstand salt-laden and high-humidity conditions, it offers 20W output power (80W effective with TX Eigen Beamforming), 100 Mbps data throughput, and single/dual-band frequency options.

“We developed the SC4400X in direct response to the growing demand for resilient MANET radio solutions that can operate in salt-laden, high-humidity and highly corrosive environments without compromising performance,” said Neema Daneshvar, Vice President of Product at Silvus Technologies. “Whether for shipboard, littoral, or offshore applications, the SC4400X delivers the class-leading tactical mesh networking power of Silvus’ StreamCaster 4400 MANET radio in a form factor that thrives where others corrode.”

    Extreme Performance with Tactical Flexibility

Powered by Silvus’ battle-proven MN-MIMO waveform, the SC4400X ensures:

    • Massively scalable mesh networks connecting hundreds of nodes

    • Exceptional EW resiliency in contested spectrum environments

    • AES256 and FIPS 140-3 Level 2 encryption for secure operations

    • Spectrum Dominance 2.0 suite with LPI/LPD, anti-jamming, and advanced threat protection

Its compatibility with the SC4400E mounting pattern allows seamless integration into fixed infrastructure, vehicular, and airborne applications.

    Enhancing Tactical Edge Communications

The SC4400X supports a 9–50 VDC input range, includes a real-time status LED, and is optimized for shipboard, offshore, and littoral operations. The ruggedized form factor ensures reliable connectivity where traditional radios fail, reinforcing Silvus Technologies’ commitment to mission-ready wireless networking.

    About Silvus Technologies

Silvus Technologies, Inc. is a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems for defense, public safety, and law enforcement. Its StreamCaster MANET radios and MN-MIMO waveform deliver unmatched range, EW resiliency, and scalability in the world’s toughest operational environments. Headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, Silvus continues to pioneer tactical communications technology for the modern battlefield.
