In a major step toward sustainable agriculture, Musim Mas, Nestlé, and AAK have renewed their partnership for the fourth consecutive year to empower independent oil palm smallholders in Aceh Subulussalam, Indonesia. The collaboration—first launched in 2021—tackles deforestation risks and delivers long-term solutions to environmental, social, and economic challenges in rural farming communities.
Impact So Far
Through the Subulussalam Smallholders Hub, over 1,581 farmers and 117 Village Extension Officers (VEOs) have been trained in Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and NDPE (No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation) principles—far exceeding initial targets.
In 2025, the renewed partnership aims to:
