AAC Technologies made its IAA Mobility debut in Munich with the theme “The Future of Sound in Motion.” The company showcased its comprehensive automotive technologies, ranging from acoustics to haptics, optics, and motor systems, positioning itself as a full-stack solution provider for smart vehicles. Since entering the automotive acoustics market in 2018, AAC has built a vertically integrated ecosystem covering sensing, processing, and output, supported by both hardware and software innovation.
China’s role in global smart vehicle supply chains
AAC’s participation at IAA Mobility underscores the growing strength of China’s smart vehicle supply chain. As global automakers accelerate the shift toward immersive, intelligent in-car experiences, AAC’s innovations highlight the country’s ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions to premium and mass-market automotive brands. Strategic acquisitions and continued R&D investment have enabled AAC to emerge as a trusted technology partner in both the automotive and consumer electronics sectors.

technologies on display
At the Munich exhibition, AAC presented five core technology segments, attracting top global automakers and audio partners to its booth. Visitors included Audi, BMW, Porsche, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Skoda, Maruti Suzuki, Changan Automobile, and Zeekr, as well as audio leaders Bose, Devialet, Harman, and Meridian.
Key highlights included:
-
Full-stack automotive acoustic solutions, from sensing to output.
-
Integration of software, algorithms, and fine tuning with advanced hardware.
-
Demonstrations of “Physical AI”-driven systems to enhance driver and passenger sensory experiences.
growth through innovation
AAC ranks among the world’s top ten passenger car audio suppliers, and is the only Chinese company on that list. The company sustains its market leadership through annual R&D investment of 7–10% of revenue, a global presence in 19 countries, and more than 18,000 patent applications.
These investments have translated into results: the company’s automotive sector revenue grew 13% year-on-year in its 2025 interim report, reaching RMB 1.74 billion. Automotive acoustics is now a key driver of AAC’s overall business expansion.
premium partnerships and immersive experiences
One of the show’s highlights was the Zeekr 9X luxury SUV, co-developed with British brand Naim Audio. Together, the partners unveiled a 9.2.4.8 multidimensional immersive sound system, integrating 32 speakers, 8 seat shakers, and a 40-channel independent amplifier delivering a peak power of 3868W. This system enables 2D, 3D, and 4D immersive soundscapes, redefining the in-cabin experience.
Such partnerships underscore AAC’s ability to combine high-fidelity sound with real-time customer profiling and intelligent system design, bringing its “AAC inside” vision to life in next-generation vehicles.
Conclusion
By debuting at IAA Mobility 2025, AAC Technologies has cemented its role as a global innovator in automotive acoustics and perception systems. With its vertically integrated platform, global R&D investments, and premium collaborations, AAC is accelerating the evolution of immersive, intelligent, and human-centric in-car experiences. The company’s continued focus on innovation ensures that its influence in the smart vehicle ecosystem will expand well beyond acoustics into the broader field of intelligent mobility solutions.
