The Raymond Corporation has expanded its energy portfolio with a new line of high-performance lithium-ion batteries, designed to deliver maximum efficiency, superior capacity retention, and advanced energy management capabilities for material handling operations.

Built with lithium iron phosphate technology, these batteries are engineered to work seamlessly within Raymond’s integrated ecosystem of lift trucks, chargers, and connected asset management tools. The result is a system that offers up to 17% productivity improvement over traditional lead-acid batteries, with enhanced safety, sustainability, and operational intelligence.

    Key Features

    • High Protection Rating: IP69-rated for durability in demanding environments.
    • Peak Performance Design: Optimized around the specific energy needs of each Raymond truck model.
    • Real-Time Energy Insights: Integration with Raymond’s Energy Asset Manager enables proactive monitoring and reduced downtime.
    • Operational Flexibility: Long run-times, fast and opportunity charging, and multi-shift operation in cold storage environments.
    • Low Maintenance: Fully sealed design eliminates watering, equalizing, and frequent cleaning.
    • Versatile Options: Available in 24V, 36V, and 48V configurations.
    • Certified Safety: UL® 2580 listed for proven durability and dependability.

Jennifer Lupo, Vice President of Technology Solutions at Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA), emphasized that the new batteries reflect Raymond’s deep understanding of its truck technology:

Christine Edwards, Senior Manager of Energy Product Solutions, added that Raymond’s approach is not just about solving today’s challenges but anticipating tomorrow’s opportunities:

With drop-in installation compatibility for Raymond fleets and Energy Essentials™ chargers, the batteries are built for quick deployment and long-term reliability.
