Schneider Electric has appointed Arvind Melagani Chinnappa as Vice President & Group General Counsel – India. Arvind brings over 17 years of experience from Bosch Group India, where he served as VP and General Counsel, with deep expertise in corporate governance, compliance, and strategic legal advisory.
At Schneider Electric, he will lead legal strategy, governance, and compliance operations across the Greater India region, supporting the company’s focus on sustainability, innovation, and ethical growth. Deepak Sharma, Zone President – Greater India, noted that Arvind’s appointment will strengthen the company’s foundation for responsible growth and long-term value creation.
In his new role, Arvind will also focus on enhancing Schneider Electric’s regulatory engagement, risk management, and corporate governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with global best practices while driving business transformation in one of the company’s key growth markets.
