YFORE, a global Tier 1 automotive electronics supplier focused on intelligent mobility, is set to open its new North America Headquarters and facility in Atlanta on August 26. The new site represents a significant step in the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the North American automotive market and work more closely with regional original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
More than a manufacturing facility, the Atlanta location will bring together local research and development, advanced manufacturing, regional sourcing, sales, and customer engineering support under one roof. By establishing an integrated automotive value chain in North America, YFORE aims to provide OEM partners with faster engineering response, greater supply chain resilience, and increased opportunities for collaborative innovation.
The new facility comes as the automotive industry undergoes a major transformation toward software-defined and software-driven vehicles. YFORE is leveraging its global experience in automotive electronics to support this transition with technologies spanning intelligent mirrors, intelligent vehicle access, intelligent cockpit systems, and other connected mobility solutions.
Expanding Intelligent Mobility Capabilities
YFORE has developed extensive mass-production experience across international automotive markets. Its digital vision and smart mirror technologies have been deployed across more than 60 vehicle models, supported by long-term relationships with more than 16 global OEMs.
The company’s intelligent vehicle access portfolio includes Digital Key solutions deployed across more than 50 vehicle models. These systems integrate technologies such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Ultra-Wideband (UWB), and Near Field Communication (NFC) to enable secure and convenient vehicle access.
Research and development remains a central part of YFORE’s strategy. More than 40% of the company’s global workforce is dedicated to R&D, while approximately 10% of annual revenue is reinvested in emerging mobility technologies.
Building a More Responsive North American Supply Chain
The Atlanta facility is designed to bring YFORE’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities closer to its North American customers. By combining R&D, manufacturing, sourcing, sales, and customer support at a single location, the company aims to improve collaboration throughout the vehicle development and production lifecycle.
Nick Chen, President of YFORE North America, described the facility as a foundational element of the company’s global strategy, emphasizing its ability to support closer collaboration with OEM partners through faster response times, customized engineering solutions, and a stronger local supply chain.
The approach also reflects the automotive industry’s growing focus on localized manufacturing and resilient supply chains, particularly as automakers introduce increasingly complex electronic and software-driven vehicle architectures.
Global Technology Portfolio
YFORE’s global operations support automotive customers across North America, Europe, and Asia. The company works with more than 30 automotive OEMs worldwide and provides solutions covering Intelligent Access, Intelligent Mirror, and Intelligent Sensing systems.
At the August 26 grand opening, YFORE plans to welcome industry leaders, OEM partners, and media representatives for a first look at the new facility. The event will feature live technology demonstrations and the global preview of a new automotive product line.
