CITGO Petroleum Corporation is preparing for a series of Light Oils Marketer Roundtable Meetings where Walmart+ Gas Savings and Club CITGO loyalty enhancements will take center stage.
The meetings, scheduled from September 17 through October 29 across 16 cities, are designed to provide CITGO Marketers with updates on programs, partnerships and technologies aimed at strengthening customer value and supporting growth across the company’s branded retail network.
Walmart+ Partnership Expands Customer Savings
A major focus of the meetings will be CITGO’s recently announced partnership with Walmart+, which provides eligible Walmart+ members with additional savings at participating CITGO locations when they enroll in the Club CITGO loyalty program.
The initiative is part of CITGO’s broader effort to enhance its loyalty offering and provide additional value to customers while supporting participating locations.
CITGO will also discuss upcoming Club CITGO enhancements intended to improve the customer experience and create additional opportunities for participating Marketers.
New Tools for Marketers
Beyond loyalty initiatives, the roundtable meetings will cover several programs designed to support CITGO’s branded network.
Participants will receive updates on the Good to Go marketing campaign, the Illuminate image program, and new loyalty reporting capabilities.
The reporting features are designed to leverage technology to simplify processes for Marketers, potentially giving participating locations improved access to information related to their loyalty programs and customer activity.
Greg Caponegro, General Manager of Light Oil Sales at CITGO, said the roundtables provide an opportunity for the company to connect directly with Marketers about programs and partnerships supporting the CITGO brand.
Industry Conditions Also on the Agenda
The meetings will also address broader developments affecting the petroleum industry.
Denton Cinquegrana, Chief Oil Analyst at OPIS, will lead a special State of the Industry session focused on current market conditions and trends.
The session is expected to give CITGO Marketers additional context on the market environment as they evaluate business conditions and opportunities within the petroleum sector.
Recognizing Long-Term Marketer Relationships
CITGO will also use the roundtable meetings to recognize Marketers celebrating significant partnership anniversaries.
Some of the relationships being recognized span as many as 65 years, highlighting the long-term relationships between CITGO and members of its branded network.
According to CITGO, these Marketers have continued operating and growing their businesses while navigating changes and challenges across the petroleum industry.
