Doosan Robotics introduced its latest AI-powered palletizing solution, PalletizHD+, at Automate 2026 in Chicago, showcasing a next-generation approach to end-of-line automation. Designed to simplify complex palletizing operations, the solution integrates artificial intelligence, collaborative robotics, and the company’s proprietary PalletizOS platform into a unified automation environment.

Alongside PalletizHD+, Doosan Robotics also demonstrated advanced AI-driven sanding, welding, and end-of-line automation technologies, reinforcing its strategy of expanding beyond collaborative robots into comprehensive intelligent manufacturing solutions.

PalletizHD+ Integrates AI and Robotics for Faster Deployment

PalletizHD+ has been developed to eliminate many of the traditional challenges associated with palletizing automation. Built on Doosan Robotics’ proprietary PalletizOS operating system, the platform combines robot control, AI-powered decision-making, and application management into a single interface that simplifies system deployment and operation.

The integrated approach enables manufacturers to reduce engineering complexity while accelerating automation implementation across warehouses, logistics operations, and production facilities.

AI Motion Optimization Boosts Throughput

A key feature of PalletizHD+ is its high-speed palletizing capability, processing up to 11 boxes per minute while supporting simultaneous handling of multiple packages.

This performance is powered by SwiftMove, an AI-based motion optimization technology that analyzes robot travel paths before operation and automatically generates the most efficient movement sequence. By optimizing robot trajectories and improving motion stability, the system increases throughput while helping manufacturers achieve a faster return on their automation investments.

The solution is particularly suited for facilities seeking to improve productivity without significantly increasing operational complexity.

User-Friendly Interface Simplifies Automation

Doosan Robotics has also focused on improving accessibility through an intuitive, smartphone-inspired user interface.

Rather than requiring advanced programming knowledge, operators simply enter box dimensions and pallet specifications, allowing the AI system to automatically generate optimized stacking patterns. This significantly reduces setup time and enables faster production changeovers when product sizes, packaging formats, or pallet configurations change.

The platform also incorporates remote support capabilities that allow users to monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and reduce maintenance response times, helping improve overall operational efficiency.

Scan&Go 2.0 Demonstrates AI-Powered Industrial Applications

In addition to PalletizHD+, Doosan Robotics showcased Scan&Go 2.0, an upgraded automation solution first introduced in collaboration with MARI at CES 2026.

Powered by Physics-Informed AI and advanced 3D vision technology, Scan&Go 2.0 enables robotic arms to autonomously perform complex industrial processes. At Automate 2026, the company demonstrated dedicated applications for sanding and welding, highlighting how AI can improve precision, consistency, and flexibility in demanding manufacturing environments.

These demonstrations reflect the growing adoption of intelligent robotics for tasks that traditionally require skilled manual labor.

Expanding Intelligent End-of-Line Automation

Visitors to the Doosan Robotics booth also experienced a broader range of automation technologies designed for end-of-line manufacturing operations.

The portfolio included robotic solutions for case erecting, packaging, palletizing, and educational robotics platforms aimed at workforce development. Together, these technologies demonstrate the company’s strategy of delivering integrated automation systems capable of supporting multiple stages of modern manufacturing and logistics operations.

Strategic Significance

The launch of PalletizHD+ highlights the increasing role of artificial intelligence in transforming industrial automation from standalone robotic systems into intelligent production ecosystems.

By combining AI-powered motion optimization, simplified programming, advanced vision technologies, and integrated software platforms, Doosan Robotics is helping manufacturers address labor shortages, improve operational efficiency, and accelerate digital transformation initiatives. As factories continue adopting smart manufacturing strategies, AI-enabled automation solutions like PalletizHD+ are expected to become a key driver of next-generation production and logistics operations.
