Verdek LLC, an end-to-end electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure provider, has been awarded Sourcewell Contract #021825-VRK, enabling eligible public-sector and nonprofit organizations to procure EV charging hardware, software, installation, and related services through a competitively solicited cooperative purchasing agreement.
Scope of the Sourcewell Contract
The awarded contract covers a comprehensive portfolio of EV charging solutions, including DC fast chargers ranging from 24 kW to over 200 kW, high-power charging-ready configurations, and Level 2 AC chargers rated between 7.7 kW and 19.2 kW. Contract Launch and Partnership Alignment
Verdek and Sourcewell formally marked the partnership during a contract launch event held on December 10, 2025, at Sourcewell’s headquarters in Staples, Minnesota. Senior leadership from both organizations attended the event to align on go-to-market execution, contract adoption goals, and near-term customer enablement priorities.
Access for Public Agencies and Institutions
Sourcewell’s participating entities include thousands of public agencies across the United States and Canada, encompassing municipalities, government agencies, higher education institutions, K–12 school districts, nonprofit organizations, and tribal entities. Eligible U.S. Department of Defense installations may also access the contract through intergovernmental support agreements. Verdek was selected following Sourcewell’s competitive RFP #021825 process, which received 86 proposer responses.
Strategic Significance for EV Infrastructure Deployment
According to Verdek CEO Guy Mannino, the Sourcewell contract represents a key milestone that streamlines access to compliant, scalable EV charging infrastructure for public agencies. The cooperative agreement enables faster deployment while ensuring accountability, regulatory compliance, and nationwide service delivery as electrification efforts accelerate.
