Schneider Electric has inaugurated its first manufacturing facility in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, marking a major milestone in strengthening U.S. operations. The 500,000+ sq. ft. facility, part of a larger two-phase campus expansion, underscores the company’s commitment to energy resilience, sustainability, and workforce development.

Enhancing Energy Resilience and Infrastructure:
The new facility will manufacture custom power distribution products for sectors including data centers, industry, and infrastructure – serving major clients like the new Nissan Stadium. Its production capabilities include air-insulated and gas-insulated switchgear, as well as shielded solid insulation systems, all vital for enhancing energy reliability.
A Strategic Expansion for Innovation:
A second 540,000+ sq. ft. facility is already under construction, further advancing Schneider Electric’s goal to meet regional energy demands. “Accelerating innovation is essential to powering the future of AI, energy infrastructure, and efficient buildings,” said Aamir Paul, President of North America Operations, Schneider Electric.
Honoring Veterans and Workforce Commitment:
Coinciding with U.S. Veterans Day, the event celebrated more than 100 veteran employees and highlighted Schneider Electric’s new veteran hiring initiative. The company was also named a Gold Military Friendly Employer for 2026, recognizing its strong culture of veteran inclusion.
Statewide and National Impact:
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee praised the expansion, calling it “a testament to the strength of Tennessee’s workforce.” Schneider Electric’s network in the state – including facilities in Franklin and Smyrna — supports advanced manufacturing, R&D, and job creation across the region.
Sustainability and Global Leadership:
Globally, Schneider Electric employs 160,000 people across 100 countries and partners with 40% of Fortune 500 companies. The firm was recently ranked the World’s Most Sustainable Company 2025 by TIME Magazine and Statista, reaffirming its leadership in sustainable energy solutions.
