Traini Raises $7.5 Million to Advance Pet Emotional Intelligence

Palo Alto–based Traini secured $7.5 million to develop intelligent systems that interpret pet emotions and intentions, helping bridge communication between humans and animals. The round was led by Banyan Tree, Silver Capital, ZhaoTai Group, and NYX Ventures, with participation from prominent investors and industry leaders. The funding will support technology R&D, product iteration, and global market expansion.

Lemon Slice Launches With $10.5M Seed to Power Interactive AI Video

San Francisco startup Lemon Slice raised $10.5 million to build foundational technology for interactive video experiences. Its flagship Lemon Slice-2 model transforms any image into a live, conversational AI avatar in real time. Backed by Matrix Partners, Y Combinator, and notable tech founders, the company is developing a platform layer to enable personalized, dynamic, and creator-driven visual storytelling.

Vibranium Labs Secures $4.6M to Scale AI-Powered Incident Engineering

New York-based Vibranium Labs raised $4.6 million to expand Vibe AI, an autonomous AI Site Reliability Engineer that proactively monitors, triages, and resolves IT incidents. Led by Calibrate Ventures and Mirae Asset, the funding will accelerate product innovation and go-to-market expansion across sectors where uptime is mission-critical, including finance, healthcare, media, retail, and defense.

Lucidean Raises $18M to Redefine Data-Center Optical Interconnects

Santa Barbara startup Lucidean closed an $18 million Seed round to advance CohZero™, a coherent-lite optical architecture delivering high-reach, energy-efficient data-center connectivity. Co-led by Entrada Ventures and Koch Disruptive Technologies, the investment will support R&D expansion and productization of 3.2 Tbps and 6.4 Tbps transceivers designed for AI-scale fabrics and next-generation data-center networks.
