Specializing in machine vision, VMR showcased its newly launched OmniHead humanoid head module, integrating panoramic vision and 3D sensing to enable autonomous operation in complex environments. According to VMR, the technology allows robots to navigate and avoid obstacles in real time within three-dimensional spaces.
Embodied Intelligence and Computing Power
Industry leaders emphasized that the global robotics sector is rapidly transitioning toward embodied intelligence, where physical robots are trained using massive datasets and advanced AI models. Gui’an’s robust computing infrastructure plays a critical role in supporting this shift. The region currently hosts 26 operational data centers, with a combined computing capacity exceeding 90 EFLOPs, over 98% of which is dedicated to intelligent computing.
Strategic Industrial Ecosystem Development
Major technology companies including Huawei, Apple, Tencent, and NetEase are actively developing projects in the region. Local authorities plan to strengthen a data-driven industrial ecosystem by building high-quality datasets, scaling industrial AI models, promoting real-world applications, and supporting advanced manufacturing growth.

The strong presence of robotics companies and high-performance computing infrastructure highlights Guizhou’s emergence as a strategic hub for AI-driven manufacturing and humanoid robotics development.
