SAL Logistics Services, Saudi Arabia’s national leader in cargo handling and logistics solutions, has announced its first international expansion through a strategic partnership with TAM Group, a global air cargo and passenger services provider. The agreement, signed during the Transport Logistic Southeast Asia Exhibition in Singapore, marks a key milestone in strengthening air cargo operations between Saudi Arabia and China — two pivotal markets in global trade.
The partnership comes as part of Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, which aim to position the Kingdom as a global logistics hub. With China serving as the world’s largest export market, the collaboration enables SAL to enter one of the most competitive logistics ecosystems, expanding its international reach while fostering trade connectivity across multiple sectors, especially e-commerce and manufacturing.
Operational Details
Under the agreement, SAL and TAM Group will jointly develop air cargo solutions to optimize freight movement between China and Saudi Arabia. The partnership will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, developing new freight networks, and expanding capacity to support rising demand for cross-border logistics. By integrating advanced supply chain solutions, the two companies aim to open new corridors for trade and investment between Asia and the Middle East.
