When a staff member activates CrisisAlert, two simultaneous actions are triggered:

Silent Panic or Active Assailant Alerts are instantly transmitted to 911 Emergency Communication Centers (ECCs) through RapidSOS UNITE, displaying the staff member’s exact room-level location on a dynamic map.

The latest update allows onsite responders to dynamically update an incident’s classification (e.g., changing a fight to an active shooter situation) directly in CrisisAlert. These updates are pushed immediately to ECC systems, giving public safety teams real-time situational awareness.
Additionally, two-way statusing within CrisisAlert enables onsite responders to share updates on location changes, medical needs, or area safety—eliminating delays caused by traditional radios or phone calls.
